This is the fi rst season s ince season 1 to not be gin with men on the blue tea m and women o n the re d team. It is al so the third of the la st four seaso ns to featur e a chef elimi nated during s ervice, the first sea son since sea son 13 t hat no chef f rom the win ning tea m was elimin ated, and t he first se ason since season 12 wher e two chefs quit. This is also the first season to ha ve a chef quit before th e finals.
