Through it all , friendship is the corners tone for survivi ng this time of lif e – whether on e’s pubert y is just be ginning, like for Nick who gets h is first gro wth spurt, o r near its conclusion, like for a m aturing (and pr ematurely balding) Andrew. At the height o f the season, when many of our charac ters are in crisis, Com passion ( personified as a new c reature voiced by Holly Hunt er), emerges as a cr ucial wa y forwa rd.
